Description of Work:

Based on the testing and scope of work from another company, Bioserv removed toxic mold from three walls in our 1/2 bathroom. The home is a newly purchased foreclosure that was vacant for a long period of time. The source of the mold is uncertain, but likely a leak in the toilet or condensation from pipes.

I sent Bioserv an email stating that I found them on Angie's List. They quickly responded via email and followed up with a phone call. That same day, they were able to schedule the job (within 4 days) and estimate the cost. All communications with Bioserv were professional, courteous and timely. On the day the work was to be done, they showed up on time and quickly set to work. They estimated it would take 4 hours to complete the job with two workers and a manager. Steve-the manager, stayed on site the whole time and supervised the work, which gave us additional peace of mind! The job scope ended up being more than originally forecast (which was the fault of a mold testing company-not Bioserv) however, Bioserv stuck to their estimated charge and still finished in under 4 hours! The quality of the work is outstanding. They took all precautions in sectioning off their work areas with plastic sheeting. They utilized two air scrubbers to keep any mold spores from going anywhere else in the house. They carefully removed all contaminate materials in plastic bags. They put fiberglass padding around a water pipe that could have been a moisture source. As the job progressed a fourth worker arrived to assist with the dry wall and foot boards. The re-connected all wires and electric boxes in the walls. At the completion of the job, they left one air scrubber at our house for a prolonged period of time to alleviate our concerns with our 3 year old daughter's asthma and our young 1 year old son. All-in-all, a very pleasant experience at a cost below competition. I recommend them highly!

Description of Work:

Bioserv preformed a mold remediation in a basement area in my home. Prior to their work there was visible mold on the walls, ceilings and furniture.

Simon and Steve were fantastic. From the estimate to the actual remediation they were courteous and professional and never pushy. They worked with me, listened to the situation, suggested ways to remediate and then offered a very competitive price. The work was completed in one day and the rooms looked amazing. They also cleaned a few areas we found after the estimate. They even helped remove old furniture out of the room. I would highly recommend them.
